We started as a Halal Lunch truck in University City on 38th and Spruce. At the time, zabiha halal meat wasn't available in Philadelphia, so Saad took matters into his hands, and slaughtered cows and sheep himself and sometimes skinned them to get the job done.
Some restaurants are selective with their zabiha halal menu, but we take pride in providing an all zabiha halal menu to our customers, that's how we like to treat ourselves, and we treat our customers the same way.
We close for the Friday prayers because it's an obligation to attend the Jumaa' prayer; and it's an obligation to fast during the month of Ramadan, so we take a break and we close for a month for the sake of Allah.
We make everything from scratch, that's why everything we make is fresh and tastes so good.
